PlayStation Network Back Online After A Mysterious Major Outage That Lasted 24 Hours

PlayStation Network (PSN) is running again after a day-long outage reported yesterday. The reason for the outage is still unknown, but some suspects in forums have mentioned it might be a 'catastrophic failure' of iPlayer's infrastructure.
